The effectiveness of artist engagement has been losing conventional popularity in recent times; partly due to the proliferation of social media content competition and huge gallery+marketing fees. Szerelem Artist Promotion Series is an initiative to promote artists across the world who are working with interesting ideas and mediums but are lacking significant exposure due to different reasons. The promotion will involve an art review of participating artists in a narrated video form and published via the Szerelem social handle. All participating artists will also be listed in our rolling artist catalogue. In this manner, we aim to rebrand the artist and his/her ideas by creating a meaningful narrative.

To be a part of the Szerelem program, make the fee payment of USD 33 and we will contact you via email or instagram message to fetch your details. Your review video will be published upon 24-36 hours after collecting your details. The fee includes the review video + catalogue listing + artist profile in our website + exclusive invitation for exciting creative projects. You will be refunded with your promotion fee if the review video is not published within our stipulated time-frame. You will receive a separate email to attach your works for the catalogue, once we have a date ready for the next issue [possibly will be two issues, July & December, depending on the volume of applications].

Regardless of whether one is an amateur or a professional, this call is open for artists across the world who are working with different mediums and movements and seeking to increase engagement with newer audiences. The aim of the project is to facilitate and promote creative people from all over the world. The genre is open but not limited to Painting, Drawing, Writing, Sculpture, Photography, Design, Prints, Mixed Media, Illustration and works on paper. All participating artists will receive the video files via email for their own use. In a way, the artists also own the digital asset that can be published via their own website, social handles or even shared in selling platforms. Once the catalogue is ready, all participating artists will be provided with a digital pdf copy. Participating artists will be featured in our social handles throughout the year and will also be invited for online meets and activities.
